| well I decided to go ahead and get a plasma torch set up. Just wondering what everyone is using or suggesting. My budget is for around a grand, and most the 120v torches ive seen in this range cut up to 1/2" or so which i'm guessing should be fine for what i'm going to be using it for. | |

| I dont remember what mine is but it was cheap and works. it was an off brand i read about on pirate. I'll look into it for ya if you like. Its hard to get a smooth cut, still got to use the old grinding wheel to straighten things up afterwards. I take it you already have an air compressor. | |

| my friend has a miller but its 220 I think he paid a little less then a grand on it I don't know what model it is. The biggest thing I found with the plasma, its to make sure you have a good compressior. It will cut a lot better. | |
