Joe, that is some agressive plans for the Grand Cherokee. As it turns out I will be selling my Grand Cherokee Orvis, I got Sonia a Durango sport for work and their is no futher need for 4 vehicles in the family, besides, I will be going in for a Hernia operation in Feruary now, got a triple hernia that needs to be corrected and that's going to oput meout of wheeling for several months. Hell at this pace I will be lucky to wheel by May or June.

Know anyone wanting an already built rig, just needs lockers.

Man tico That stinks the hernia thing is back, But look at it this way if you concentrait on getting better you should be all right in time for spring wheeling 9

As far as jeep i'll keep an eye out for you. What did you want to get for it. Also would you want to sell the Rubicon rims/tires off of it. I could sell/trade you back another set so the thing wouldn't be rimless.

="md4wheelin I'll be pulling the motor this weekened if anyone is interested in helping out. Also just came across a motor stand that some body is going to let me use so hopefuly in the next couple of weeks i'll pull the motor out of the rolled one (sorry tony I mean the one with the modified roof line) and start the rebuild on that. Hey Grason I'm going to need some parts brother.

Joe,
I'll come over, sit in a lawn chair in your front yard, drink beer and watch!
The Home Owner's Assoc is gonna love this! You'll have 2 jeeps without motors in your yard, a pit bull running all over the streets, a 30 foot fire in the fire pit, and 3 guys drinking beer on your lawn!
king
Seriously though I'll come over to help out around lunchtime on Saturday. I'm helping my brother-in-law put brakes on his honda early Sat morning. 9

This quesstion is going to sound kind of stupid but learning the whole motor swap thing as I go. From what I can gather this is the computer for the motor.
The Resurection Project - Page 2 Zjcomputer

If this is the case I have a 95 zj v8 sitting down at the yard. I allways thought the computer was under the dash were they had a buch of wires hanging down, so I assumed that they ripped it out before I bought it. So hell If I can swap this motor in I fix two probs in one shot. A shot motor and tranny. Both of which work off the donor jeep. cheers mbn

Yes it is indeed the computer or PCM. Somehow it attaches to the fuse box and all those wires under the dash.

sorry danny I was on the clock. the boys with the shop above said I could use it. Cool thing is that they have a overhead crane, bad thing is that they said I had only 4 hours to use it before they had to leave. Sorry no pics but I got the job finished and tools out the door with 8min to spare. Tell you what danny that crane made a huge difference being able move the engine around smoothly instead of jerky. Also I pulled the entire driveline in one shot instead of pulling TC off first. Don't worry danny we still have one more engine to pull. The v8 out red zj and thats the one that going to be a pain because were going have to lable everything and make shure we don't break anything on the way out. I only broke one sensor on the motor I just pulled mbn No prob on that steel Nester, just let me know if need some more and i'll see what i can do for you. I'm going to talk to the scrap man next time I see him and see if he could find me some large plates for fabbing up some skids. I'll just tell him I'll trade him twice the weight in other scrap steel. hmmm I knew those bent plow frames would come in handy for something. Just goes to show you I'm not a pack rat after all, I do find uses for all that all crap.
