| Okay so who's in for going to Tellico for this? I think that I can take a Friday-Monday off of work and go do some wheeling. | |

| That will be Friday April 4th thru Monday April 7th. Drive down Friday check in get the rigs ready. Wheel Saturday and Sunday Drive home Monday. If someone wanted to cut the trip short you could try to either get a late start friday or leave early on sunday but with it being a 12+ hour trip to get there its a stretch and you will hit traffic. I'm thinking that Crawfords is the place to stay for this but its going to be hard to get a cabin so its going to be camping unless someone has a camper or RV they can bum off someone. If someone has can tow my jeep I'm willing to haul a camper if its not to big or is setup right for mountain roads. The trails at Tellico are no joke and there is really terrain to ride that is not like RC or the parks that many of us know. There are no bypasses or turn arounds and the trails are tight so keep body damage in mind. Yes carnage will be had by all | |

| I would say that staying at Crawfords is our best bet. but if you want to crash in hotel you can stash the tow rig and trailer at the hotel and just drive the XJ around. Do you have tags on that thing | |

| I have been thinking about putting tags on it..its Inspected..LOL..
I just cant see paying 300 every six months to drive it once or twice during that time..
I might just for the heck of it..
Rear winch is mounted and works great. I have the front off and rebuilt just waiting for the new rope to come. Pirate had a great article on rebuilding the 8274. i enjoyed pulling it apart.

It's not about how the ride will be. It'll be crowded and slow with moderate wheeling.
It's about being there to stand up for Tellico. __________________

| That is what I am worried about. From what I hear tellico would be worth it even if we are sitting in lines most of the time. It is a long drive, I know I will only make it there once this year, so I would like to make the best of it. But it is for a good cause. | |

| Im all for the cause, but I look at how we react sometimes to big groups. Are we making the right decision to run that weekend...
I hate second guessing myself, but it is 12 hours each way..
Thoughts? Im in for what the group decides..

| I already know the trails are going to be a bitch to run with all the people. Basicaly i'm just heading down for the party and to meet people from all over. Big Dogs ice breaker is going to be our main event as far as wheeling, so why dont we look at this as a big social event. | |

Thoughts? Im in for what the group decides.. I'm guessing that weekend is a special event weekend to support the park? I would be up for going another weekend to be sure to get a lot of wheeling in if that's possible. 12 hrs is a long drive to sit in traffic jams on the trails.

| Are there cabins available checking in April 4 and out April 7? Cost?
Thanks
Matt
Matt,
Yes, the cabin is available. Please confirm w/ Danny Slucher at crawfords_campground@yahoo.com or 828-837-9077
The cost is $110 per night for 5 nights and the 6th is free. There is a $50.00 dollar cleaning fee. We have made some upgrades to the cabin that is not on the website. I am attaching…
Thanks for your interest.
Bobbi
