| At this point I just want to know whats going to happen and how much time do we have? I hope Kyle and steph find land near a hotel with a bar. I'm going to miss the comfort in and its little hole in the wall bar. | |

| Sounds like PAP was unaware that there was even a hearing. Gladstone has control and can lock the gate again until the appeal is heard by the superior court. | |

| LOL that's funny Nester I read that thinking it was gonna say i hope they find land closer or land soon but no you're just looking for land near a hotel with a bar in it. I knew i liked you! The comfort inn was becoming my second home. They knew me there like they know me at my home town bars! We'll just have to camp at the next place and make our own bar if need be. I wonder how well they'll patrol that land...it'll be hard to guard 5,550 acres of land yah yah i know not being a responsible wheeler but they're stealing my favorite place to go and it could be all for nothing! | |

| Yes, unfortunately we will be closed this weekend which means no Monthly Ride this weekend. We are trying to reach everyone now. We can't get another hearing until next week, so the stunt they pulled will close us for this weekend. But please don't think we are closed for good. Just this weekend. As soon as we hear any updates, we'll keep you posted. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and support. We wish everyone a Happy Easter. __________________ Paragon Adventure Park info@paragonap.com (570) 384-0550
It seems the hearing that gladstone had with the superior court was without warning so PAP could not be represented. they are appealing the decision to the superior court to gain control back. They still are to have a hearing about the whole situation at superior court. | |

| We have secured a very small piece of land that will be available for us to do our dealer events. The piece isn't large enough for trail riding. HOWEVER, we are getting close to an agreement for another piece of property that we can use for trail riding. We don't have anything in writing yet, but as soon as we do, we'll let you know.
As far as the politicians, contact Commissioner Steve Urban. He will be glad to help you out. If you (570) 825-1500 is the main number. If you can't seem to get through, send me a PM, I do have other numbers to try. We will soon be changing the front page to show election information for Luzerne County.
Thanks everyone! __________________ Paragon Adventure Park info@paragonap.com (570) 384-0550 | |

| FAA gives nod to proposed airport
HAZLETON (AP) — A developer proposing a $1.6 billion cargo airport has won conditional federal approval for use of airspace in the area where Luzerne, Schuylkill and Carbon counties meet.
Gladstone Partners proposes the facility, which backers say would create more than 100,000 supporting jobs, for a site on 5,000 acres it has obtained options to buy just south of Hazleton.
The Federal Aviation Administration examined the proposed layout and told Gladstone in an April 30 letter that takeoffs and landings at the site "will not adversely affect the safe and efficient use of navigable airspace." Conditions include eliminating air traffic overlap with Hazleton Municipal Airport and lighting a nearby smokestack.
The conditional approval clears the way for Gladstone to develop a master plan, seek funding, negotiate with tenants, and conduct traffic, environmental and noise studies. | |

This is a post from Stephanie on the Blue Mountain Jeep Alliance web page:
Trail Cutting for Paragon
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, don't get too excited. We've been getting some very good leads in the past week or so as we've been putting newspaper ads out there and we are surprised to find out that there is more land available than we originally thought (in all four directions). We are getting the ball rolling by already securing a small parcel of land. It isn't quite large enough to open it up to the public for everyday wheeling, but we already have some events scheduled and we plan on letting the charter club members wheel there to make up for all the crap that is been going on. However, we have a Jamboree to prepare for and we will be cutting trails all this weekend and next weekend to prepar for it. Anyone that is intersted in joining us is more than welcome. There is nothing there right now, so it's not really possible to even take your Jeep in until we start cutting. So anyone willing to join us would need to bring walking/hiking attire and any trail cutting equipment. If you are interested in joining us, we will be meeting at 9 a.m. in the field across from the Red Ridge Lake Campground both Saturday and Sunday. (It will count toward your membership - I know that will be the next question.) Thanks for hanging in there with us and we should have some more good news soon.
ALSO: The Paragon Web Page now states Phase 1 reopening, New Zion Grove location open to Group SUV/4x4's Only. Oak Ridge Road location CLOSED. | |

| TRAIL CUTTING
I don't know if you've heard the news, but we secured a small piece of land (about 400 acres) that we are going to be doing dealer events and large group rides on and in two weeks, the Jamboree. But we only managed to get two trails cut this weekend (short notice and not a lot of people), so if anyone in your club is interested, we will be up there Saturday, Sunday and Monday for trail cutting. We are just having everyone meet at the field across from Red Ridge Lake Campground at 9 a.m. Bring all the supplies you have.
Thanks, Stephanie Paragon Adventure Park 598 Oak Ridge Road Hazleton, PA 18202 (570) 384-0550 (570) 384-0551 fax www.paragonap.com

We are certainly trying. Unfortunately we really don't know any more than what the rest of you read in the papers. We will have a court hearing soon, hopefully sooner than later, that will determine if we are back on the property. But we are diligently discussing other options with other land owners and we have located property in all four directions of Paragon. So even if we don't have one large park opened, we hope to have four smaller ones closer to where "you" live. The piece that we just opened isn't large enough for the general public, but we will take reservations for large groups to use it. It is beautiful terrain and very close to camping and still close enough to the regular hotels. As soon as we find anything out, we'll post it. We really do appreciate all the continued support. | |
