| Big dogs was a blast as always. Dont have any pics, cause we didn't do anything good saturday, and chris was sleeping on sunday. Food was great. Thank you joe and mandy. The weather sucked and I didn't bring the top to my jeep but it was worth it. nick I don't like you (old nick) | |

| Here is a link to my pics: https://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v619/connordanny/Big%20Dogs%2008/ I had a great time as always! Thanks Chef Joe, Bill and Mandy for the cookin'! I went out with my dad and uncle on Saturday and did Pinnacle and then went back to the other side and drove up Trickle - which is a creek that was really flowing during the rain/hail storm! We did some tougher trails on Sunday and got real muddy as the day went on.

| Have to agree saturday sucked. was nice to get out there but level 6 trails pinnacle was a stocker trail not a level 6 trail. we were on the trail and I thought it was an access trail. took Dave back due to overheating and crank pulley contacting the high steer assembly. Checked in with grason who was swapping a new radiator in due to overheating. He had it running well after that. Went back out and joined up wtih a group running uturn hard and rode until it started to rain at 2:30. then had a big dinner with the company of 18 in the rain with tons of fantastic food, thanks Joe. Sunday after a big breakfast we went to teh meeting late and john let us head out anyway. we hit some level 7 trails including extreme, corum trail and a few others. tried squeeler at the end of the day uphill but was denied due to heavy mud(about a foot deep that looked like a lava flow). Then was winched out and backed back down the hill to find another way out. Sunday was a good day of wheeling once I was oriented to the map. Next time I will not be denied. | |

| By the way rumor is that the jeep that was doing donuts in camp 6 and got yelled at by John and others had an unfortunate trail incident. | |

| damn that sucks, this is why I carry a fire extinguisher with me. This event did suck do to the mud but i still had a hell of a time seeing alot of people I haven't seen since last year. I'm glad eveyone enjoyed the food, hell whats camping with out good food and drink. also i just found out today that the next big dogs is in the beging of june instead of the end. So as of next week were only 5 weeks out or so. This will be a three day event so i'll need a little extra time to get the food menu together. So if you want to be on the food list try to let me know by the last week of may. I'll try to get the few pics i have up in the next couple of days. | |

| not sure exactly what happened to him but I read that he was overheating and tried to make it back to camp but well you know the rest. said there was about 15 empty fire extinguishers near the truck and it still wouldn't go out. said the overheated injectors caught fire or something like that. That was the one that passed us I think, in front of the one that stopped for air. | |

| Nice pictures nick and grason! Nick, from what I understand you are pretty new to wheeling? I was impressed...no whining, no stupidity and no unnecessary right foot carnage. You just went out and wheeled without a need for constant attention, good job dude!! | |

Thanks man! Yeah I am very new to "real" wheeling and picking lines. I just sit back and watch you guys do it and try to learn.

| "injector fire" that sucks, pretty much a death sentence. Almost like a brake fire, were the brake gets so hot that it lights up the berring grease and you can put it out do to the fact that the pads keep relighting it. | |

that was his own dumb fault. if my junk was overheating worse than it was i would have stopped and had someone tow me back to camp to fix it. i wouldnt keep driving it till it caught on fire.
