Front diff leak and service front end

I tore the whole front axle down just to repair a leaking front diff on the 609 axle. During the disassembly found that the bearings needed repacked anyway, I usually do that once a year. On the passenger side The warn hub drive flange fell out in about 6 pieces when I took the little screw out. Also found the diff fluid was in desperate need of changing, not as water tight as I believed. So time to order a new warn hub. I decided to switch to drive flanges instead of manual hubs for added strength. I really don't drive it on the road and I have an ARB in the front anyway so no big deal. After reading the BillVista review on drive flanges I ordered the polyperformance drive gear kit.

Oh yeah my front driveshaft is nearly seized up so time to lube that up and see if I can free it up.

I read that the warn manual hubs have a lifetime warranty so I'm turning it in for a replacement and then will probably sell the set.

Drive Flanges are the way to go I have broke a hub the last 3 times out thank god for warranty, I am putn flanges on from now on when I wheel.

Front axle has been assembled. I did swipe the drive flanges off the CJ to finish the YJ. Spend about an hour freeing up the front driveshaft that had seized up. Now it is super slippery and telescopes well. Finally the jeep is off of the jackstands. I tested the arb and found it was leaking air somehwere. Traced it down to a busted nut where the tube enters the front housing, luckily I had a spare and now all is good. I still need to fix the steering fitting and install bump stops.
