Line Mt race at Rausch April 28, wheeling Sunday

Looks like the next trip will be the weekend of the Line Mt race at Rausch Creek. A few of us are going to run the race on Saturday while others are going to wheel that day. Sunday will be a regular wheeling day. I think it will be the shakedown run for Joe this weekend.

im going to give it try as long as no issues pop on the jeep and the last few parts come in on time.

I'm rebuilding a transmission, 2 shocks, 2 links, fixing suspension winch, axle tube leaks but still hopeful. Tranny was pulled today after working 8-9. Hope to see everyone there. Camping?

All is ready except I need to install a transmission Thursday, and a coilover.

im out, supposed to be a wash out this weekend plus the jeep is probably going to need a few more things done to it to get it trail ready.

Well it looks like I'm racing saturday. Tranny is in and test drive was good. Guess there is no wheeling sunday. Looks like next event will be spring fling.

how did everything go?.......

I got a flat at mile 5, then fuel fitting issues twice but otherwise no big problems, finished 13th. Casey rode shotgun, had a blast.
Matt/Kim rolled into the brush while passing someone, got it righted and finished the race 15th.
Chris Riley had issues with his nipples pulling out (steering pump) and ended up 18th I think.
All 3 finished so it was a good race.
