I'm still in shock with this and i feel bad that rich had to go through this mess but at least it made for a good story and some creativeness...here's the story...went to simply change the diff fluids and the damn fill plug on the 8.8 was too egged out to remove. any attempt to get a bite on it to remove it just made it worse due to the soft metal. rich first attempted welding on a castle nut, then a bolt, then a socket extension which ended up being successful in REMOVING the plug. rich ended up burning the hell out of his finger and a good bit of his hand on the extension after welding on it for about 20 min. anyway we're about to seal it up after the weld was cleaned up and the diff was finally filled and then it wouldn't thread. the creativeness prevailed and the goodyear rubber hose and bolt worked great and actually gripped and threaded into the hole to make a great seal. rich is the man...major kudos and a HUGE thanks! p.s. sorry again andrea jkfg haha

here's the pics...i tried to post them on the meetup but for the lfie of me couldn't find the 'create new album' so i'll do it with links through here
