we will be leaving friday morning around 8:30 am.. hope to be up their b-4 lunch time

Stuff left to do for Big Dogs: Pack and leave. Jeep runs great and everything but the radio works. We will be leaving friday immediately from work. Probably leaving about 8pm and arrive at Big Dogs around 9:30 pm.

I need to bolt in the harnesses and pack all the trail junk in the jeep. But the jeep is on the trailer in the driveway. I'm going to be one sad mofo if I dont make it.

I just need to finish packing, swap out the hard doors & get enough alcohol to drown my shitty mood.
The Jeep is ready to go.
Von, are we rolling out at 8:30 or is that when everyone is supposed to meet?

Now leaving friday at 6 pm. B there at 8PM, gotta stop at walmart for last minute food items.

I hope to leave by about 4ish...chances are I'll show up about the same time as you again Bill. Jeep is almost done. Gotta grab a nut from lowes on my way home tonight then tcase is completely bolted in, slap on the driveshafts, fix the frame insert for the skid plate, fluids, and she's ready to get the ever living shit beat out of her.

I have a bit more wiring to do, reinstall seats and would like to reaplace passanger ball joint and ujoint caps. Might not get it all done but it will be good enough for big dogs

Belts are mounted and I now hate my seats. So I might be working on getting new seats sooner than later. Only things left on the list know is pack the jeep and maybe some rock lights.

What kind of seats do you have?

they are a set of used super seats that I got last year cause my stock seat where trashed and the original seats. They are still good but they dont work very good with the harnesses. I will run them but I'm thinking that I will be calling Randy very soon.

The alcohol has been purchased and is chilling in the fridge. I'm starting to feel better already. Come on Friday!

Well I'm officially getting screwed by work here.... I've been on the road for 3 weeks and have to come back to St Louis on Monday for another week because some sub contractors royally fucked up our install of 100 water dispensers in Schnuck's pharmacies out here and caused a bunch of leaks.

I originally planned to tow the Jeep to work, leave at lunchtime and visit one store in Thurmont, then head down 81 to Gore and be set up and drinking by five on Friday. Now I wont even get home from the airport until 9pm and have to be back at 5:45 am on Monday. Fuckin' yard is a jungle, haven't seen the kid in days and I've been getting yelled at for some idiots jacked up installs for the last two weeks. Even if I rushed it and came down on Saturday I'd be out of it.

If anyone still has a working rig after this weekend lets hit up Rausch one weekend in May.

Keep working at it buddy. Wheeling will come in time. I would save you time for either KOH or come out in june for Big dogs. Don't worry we will drink a couple extra beers for you.

Danny I think the next date of interest is watching the KOH qualifier on Friday may 7th and wheeling rausch that weekend (may 8 and 9).

shit matt still has plenty of time, its only tuesday. Also danny ill be Rc for the koh thing on sat then again two weeks later for a zj run if you wanted to catch up. I'm hoping to be down there around 5 some time and drunk by 8 if possible.

LOL Joe...I was just telling Julie how I was slapping the lose ends together on mine last minute and I'm like hell i'm not as bad as Joe, he usually finishes up at camp!!

Last work day & less than 24 hours before we hit the road! Come on Friday!!!!

lol the best was last year when I had no running gear in the jeep by wed afternoon. But I did have 11 hour problem. I f'ed up my front drive shaft in the process of trying to get rid of the clicking noise. I boogered it back together but im not sure how long it will last. I'm hoping it will hold out for this weekened and ill be able to order a real one when I get back. Other then that the jeep is ready to go a day a head of time. (allas why i think the drive shaft will probably let go as i back it off the trailer at camp)

What joints do you run in your front shaft? what running length do you need? I have a couple spares that may fit. I'm running 1310 joints both ends

I'm looking forward to sitting in a chair in the rain just drinking a beer. Work sucks this week and I just can't wait to get away.
