| Haven't figured out what group I wanna run with yet.. The KGB crew seems like it may have some decent rigs with them, but we'd have to listen to Eugene's loud mouth all day... I'd entertain a Sunday morning run too if it's not too bad. My buddy Mike and his wife Val may be coming up from NC, but they're just gonna be running a new "beater" XJ as his project heep is still a project, so they won't be on the trail with us. Got Nicole a new (to me) harness with a crotch belt.. amazing how much better it holds you in than just a 4-point. | |

| Camp 6 is ok if you like to party or aren't bothered by others partying and being loud. Not being rude, just giving you a heads up. | |

| Do to a bunch of issues at home me and mandy won't be able to grab up the food for dinner this go around. So unfortunately Its going to have to be a fend for yourself weekend this go around unless some one else has time to grab up the steaks and other stuff for sat night.
As of now ill be down sometime thur and hopefully mandy will be able to make it down some time fri depending on her work load.
I got the the front end of my jeep back together. Turns out the hubs I had were fine, yukon shipped my one ford outer and one chevy outer and it turned out the one side I was trying to install the hub was on the chevy outer. problem is the chevy outer is 5/8 longer then the ford. I went to just cut down the chevy one and my damn chop saw took a shit right as went to cut the damn thing. (this i took as a sign not to mess with the damn thing) So i'm running one 35 spline and one 30 spline shaft for this weekend.

I really didn't find it to be that bad last time. 'Course, there's going to be a lot more people this time...

| The obnoxious antagonist wasn't there last time I've heard of times when locals show up that make me seem tame though and made for a pretty annoying night till 4-5am. People have complained about not being able to sleep from noise but I've never heard a sound. I must be getting older though because I just get drunk and flop in the tent and get some of the best nights of sleep all year. Don't know if it's the booze, the great outdoors, or the early mornings hahaha. Hell I was falling out around midnight last trip which is unheard of for me! Anyway, I can't wait to be there and hope my rig holds up for the weekend. She's in need of some serious attention but this trip snuck up on me. Going to be last minute, throw whatever I have for camping and food and hope for the best. | |

| Instead of being at big dogs getting drunk I spent half my day cleaning up my grandmoms yard where my bum ass piece of shit 31 year old cousin lives and doesn't do a fuck of anything. In fact he showed up and was like you wanna sub for my bowling team tonight, looked at him said yah fuck you with all my free time. Anyway, proceeding...It was the worst load of yard waste I've had in my truck to date and I thought I was going to drop dead unloading it. It was all ivy, thorns, dirt and years of cinders. To top it off after I unload at the yard waste dump Mr. fucking Fire police decided it was his day to fuck with me. He goes why didn't you stop for me when you pulled in? I said well I saw your car sitting there and you sitting there but didn't see a reason to stop for you, am I missing something? Fucking ball buster flexing his god damn muscles. Demanded to see my id, I ask him who he is and explained i didn't have it beacuse i'm in work clothing. Asked to see my registration and I said I'm sorry sir but I don't think your a police officer but if you must here it is...it's not going to do you any good because it's registered to the business which is located in Reading. I told him it was for my uncle who lives in that township...piece of shit made me go get his id which I did because it sure beat a $300 fine. Yes this is my rant after many beers while I slowly pack for Big Dogs. Just one big blob of senseless bullshit Time to get drunk bitchessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss....see you in Gore no later than 8pm...ice the backup beer, I'll bring the tequila. | |

| I don't even know if I took any pictures. I have to check then. It was a good time and great weather for once, despite the hellish dust. Felt good to get out. I knew the Jeep was a ticking time bomb and was expecting some sort of carnage and it happened going up KGB. Took one final bump going up KGB and the rig launched and had a violent bounce on its side snapping the front right 44 shaft...no surprise really. Decided to get to the top of KGB and spectate Insanity and ending up breaking a rear 8.8 shaft. That thing has been making noise for a while on the back left and it sounded like it spun the splines. Beats me...not sure what I want to do.
I think that rear is plenty strong but don't like that the price of the super88 kit is now $588!!?!?!?! Was thinking of putting in moser chromoly shafts for about $200 less than the supper 88. They keep the c-clip so I could carry stock spares but the thing I hate is when I snap a shaft the whole rear needs to come apart which results in breaking the fucking ARB line. I really wouldn't expect to break those though...the stock shaft I have had been abused for 5-6 years now. Super88 would allow me to ditch the spacer/adapter, has the c-clip eliminator, and of course the added strength. Just hate putting money into it with the 60 sitting in the garage but a front 60 just isn't in the budget. Any suggestions?
Big thanks to Bill letting me run Insanity in his rig...LOVE that thing!! Thanks for all those steaks Myriah and Chris and thanks to Mandy for all the tasty sides!!
