Final RC race this saturday.

Totally fired up about this race. CJ is running GREAT and I think we'll do well this time. Course is about 8 miles and 5 laps. time interval between racers is closer together this time. Heard that we will be going up, down and back up Devils Den. Should be a trip with wet tires.

Dave and I will be there. I left for South Korea the day after the Badlands Qualifier and Dave left for Dallas that Monday. We have both been away so I don't think the car even got washed after the last race. I get back tomorrow and Dave gets in tonight. We are going to wash it, blow out the filters, check the tires and run the hell out it. Hopefully she stays together. We don't have a good record at Rausch. If we get a chance to prerun this course maybe we can do a little better.

Looks like a good spectator area at devils den according to Kyle.

Front ARB quit working under pressure. I think the gears are "broached". The course is the toughest we've seen and being wet makes it that much harder.(I know thats what she said). ARB quit working so we would be winching 5 times every lap. I called Randy Wood and asked for ANY locker or spider gears or anything we could throw in there to work better than the ARB. He call an hour later on his way to Burtonsville, MD to pick up a spool and is bringing it up to Pine Grove tonight. Matt and Nick took the CJ to Reading and are tearing it down. Once Randy gets here I'll continue the parts train to Reading and help with the install. btw ARB for sale....cheap! Got stuck on a blue trail, must have overheated and blew a hose off the water pump, had no water so Kim/Matt were going to pull us back. they pulled around us and the motor wouldn't restart. Nick reallized there was a stream nearby so we gathered up some containers to refill the radiator and bled the air our(thanks Chris for your knowledge) and were on our way. It was dark by then so i was following the shadow of the treetops against the sky with the help of a tiny pen light. Exciting, cold, dark, drizzling. If all goes well we will be ready for the morning race.
