Looks like Max has to go to the shop. Sad

Anybody have any recommendations of a shop that does front end work? Seems I need my ball joints replaced.

Bobbi...

I just re-did my entire front end... it was a piece of cake... and I now have all the tools to do it easily. (see my update in the tech section on the control arm post).

If you have a place to work on it, and can get the rod end I can help you out...

Then you would just need an alignment done to make it 100%... Mine is driveable with no pull, wobble, etc... but I still want a second look from the alignment shop to check it all out.

Just my .02

REALLY...... I need new ball joints too. I could not go over 30 for the last 20 miles or so. home from Rausch. I am going to call Matt in the morning to see what his place charges. I have done them before but with out a press it took forever.

Tony...you have a ball joint press? scratch I heard that the tools necessary are really necessary and that there are measurement issues...

As in, you have to get it exactly right the first time, very little wiggle room once they are in for adjustments.

Let me know....

BTW, I'll read your post again.

He said "Rod End" and Bobbi said "Ball Joint". Big difference.

That's what I thought.

So, back to the original question...recommendations for a shop that can do the work?

Planning on dropping my junk off next Monday after I return from VA this weekend.
