I've been to the 2 day events and it is a little quieter. The 3 day events have the raffle, music and late night mud bog etc.

| I'll be going this year to the 3 day events. It is a little expensive but not if you cut out the cost of the long drive to paragon or rausch. Camping sites suck unless you have an air mattress or sleeping pad. Don't expect to get any sleep and you wont be disappointed. | |

| This is only 2.5 hours from me...that makes this even better! I don't think i'll be missing an event. I'm curious about their trail ratings are they numbered in order of difficutly? Because if that is the case maybe it'd be a good idea to do the easier stuff on saturday. How soon do i need to register? I'm much better at last minute i hate planning! | |

| trails are not harder than we are used to. 7a....7e are like black trails but some are kinda easy with the way our rigs are set up. Lots of loose sediment that makes it difficult on some of the trails, just cant get any traction. | |

| This is gonna kickass...i'm hella excited. I'm going to register tomorrow. Is it $68 for the weekend and then $25 for the campground? I think that's what I got out of it...i guess this is sort of a pointless question beacuse i'll find out for sure tomorrow. Time to get to work on rigging a beer tap in the back of the jeep. | |

| i emailed big dogs and he says that they try not to change the trail s after they receive the reg., but he said that sometimes they do allow changes at registration when we get there. first thing, and that he would take care of mine. so hopefully i will change the trails that i chose when we get up there. | |

| After some discussion with some friends, I am going to be registering for Trail 5 as my first choice. The advice that I got was that it would "put me through the ringer." Sounds like enought of a challenge for me right now. So we will be divided into at least two groups for this ride. Trail 5 is the lowest of the "advanced intermediates" BTW, Danny are you going to see Hank Jr.? Where is he playing. I spent some time with the band...All Access Pass. Fun times. | |

| Ok, now that we have more info from Bobbi, we have to make a decision on what trails we are registering for. Are we going to split into two groups or not? Post up if you want to do 5 or 7s. We should all be registering this week. | |

| since i allready registered, i will try to change mine to what ever you guys want to run when we get there, i will be bringing a freind with me also. BOBBI isn't the minimum for a 5 trail ( no locker and aggressive tires ) at least thats is what i read . if so danny can also run the 5 trail. it really does not matter to me what i run. i told my wife that i would take it easy for a while. these runs are getting to expensive, from breaking all the time | |

| Trail 5 is listed as "advanced intermediate" 33" tires or better, lockers very beneficial. It actually has the same requirements as 7.
I believe Joe is signing up for Trail Ride 5 as well.

| well on 7 a winch is mandatory and 1 locker mandatory.so danny would not be able to run it. that is fine though, i will do the 5 trails also if i can get with you guys to run, | |

| All this trail rating is making my head spin more than reading Bill's post on drive line angles... I understand SOH,CAH,TOA.... but Level 5 thru 7?!?!?!? ALL sites list 5 thru 7 as same equipment but the app has differant requirements than the site... 1 says 31" tires, one says 33"... locker... no locker... winch... no winch... Wow... So either I go for 7 and get towed around all day long and make a bad time for all... or I go 5 and see it really isn't that bad afterall and short change myself... course I could average it out and do 6 both days... decisions decisions... And if 5 is going to be a challenge for Bobbi... wow... I have seen you do some things that I can't wait to do Bobbi... impressive.. ( ). I know I can't follow your trail yet... so it makes me wonder is there really any true meaning to their numbers? You guys have pushed, pulled, and dragged me all over... you know my limitations... what are your suggestions for a good time for all? T | |

| Tony, sign up for trail 5. I think me being put through the ringer is a little strong. I think the trail is a challenging rock crawl. Nothing not doable. The friend that gave me the advice is on 33s. She was given the advice by the Land Owner, Tom. So, if she is comfortable with that, so am I. You'll be fine. I signed up for Trail Ride 5 with 4 as a 2nd for Saturday. And 6 with 6A for a second on Sunday. If need be we can probably change our choice for Sunday. More importantly...who's bringing the food and who's bringing the libations for Friday and Saturday nights. We should make a plan. Unless its everyone for him/herself. | |

| alcohol is okay at big dogs. severl clubs play beer pong and get trashed, others just wander around and drink other peoples beer. This is okay in the brotherhood of wheeling after the keys have been retired for the night. In other words bring lots of beer! | |
