| I will be camping on Sat night as well. I'm towing Joe's pop up down there, but my brother in law and I are camping the old fashioned way in a tent and sleeping bags.... My dad and uncle are getting a hotel (they're scared of bears) so please put me down for 2! btw, just tested the locker out in the gravel and dirt out behind the building....cant wait to really put it to the test at BD! | |

| Hey Bill,
That was my though as well, as far as mixing up the trails. We need to find out who our most and least modified Jeeps are in order to accommodate everyone.
Is anyone open/open? Now that Danny is locked in the front, I am not sure.

| unless one of tony's new secret weapons is a locker he's open/open. also having our own trail guide sounds like a great idea. This way we can mix up the hard and easy stuff. Also i'll be camping in my truck fri then i'll be in the taj mahall sat night. | |

| well... I own a locker for the front now...
BUT... I don't think I will have it installed in time for this run... so I will still be Open/Open on 33s...
Still waiting on shipment, then I have to order the gears to fix it up, and probably a hub kit for the front.... considering regearing the axles at that point too... 4.56 or 4.88 since eventually I want to go 35/37s and I will have it all torn apart anyway...
I was hoping to have it all in and running... I guess it will have to wait more into the summer.

| it is about 2 hrs and 15 min (mapquest) from perryhall, i beleive that me, danny and kathy are all going down saterday morning early around 5-5:30 :lllgh: ALSO you might want to get the gears put in the same time the locker, what type of locker did you get, i would not go bigger than 35's on stock axles. i ran stock axles with 35' boggers for years and only blew my axle once. you just have to know when to be easy | |

| If you guys are heading up Saturday morning I may join the convoy when you pass me on route 340 at the potomac river. I live about 1/4 mile from that bridge. This is all provided I get the parts I'm waiting for and can fix my compressor. THe fix is easy once I get the parts. | |

| I will be heading down fri evening, so if someone wanted to follow me down then thats fine. Also tony with gears and a locker and 35's your going to have to be real gental on that d35 and carry spare parts. The way you drive you should uprgade it to the 8.8 and then dump the money of gears and lockers into that. With the d35's its not if its going to break but when and how bad. | |

| Yeah, I agree. Ask Nester about the Sheared D35 pinion I showed him. I sheared the pinion gear in half. | |

| Hey guys Tony has a Dana 44 in the rear. Tony what type of locker do you plan on running in the rear. If you do a lunch box for the rear you can wait till later down the road since you dont have to mess with the ring gear it install lunch box lockers if not its a different story with detriots. | |

| I have 7 campsites reserved in Camp III, with a possibility of moving to Camp 5 or 7. I wll leave word at the front as to where the Rock Raiders are. Certainly, assuming I have a signal, youcan call on the cell phone to find out where we landed. I will be arriving in Gore at lunch time on Friday.
As far as trail riding...Seems we are all in for 6 on Sunday. I will make sure we have our own guide for that. Saturday is still iffy. Please let me know if you are interested in running level 5 trails on Saturday. If I can get 8 rigs, we will have our own ride.

| If we have our own guide saturday perhaps that guide could mix it up a bit? Do mostly blue stuff with optional harder obstacles? That would work. I really like the idea of all of us wheeling together but want eveyone to get what they came for. | |

| I have not heard anything back on my reg. yet, 5 on sat. 6 on sunday is what my first choices are and I have not heard it was full... As for my upgrades... most likely won't have them for the run... my plan is all installed by June. Got a Detriot locker for the front at a steal because it needs outer gears. Maybe center too... won't know for sure til it is in my hands. Nester is correct about the D44 rear... 30 front. I am going to re-gear at the same time to 4.88. And like nester said... lunchbox the rear. Cheap, quick, and dirty... but it will work, and just enough to get me into more trouble . It will let me save up for the next upgrades, and later bigger axles (Super 44s with ARB or D60s... we shall see... way down the line though). Joe- I will probably tag with you down... when you thinking of leaving? | |

| I got my confiramtion email from john hunt of big dogs. I noted in my registration email that I'm running with M.R.R. and he said "Be sure to tell the others from Md Rock Raiders 4x4 that if there is anything I can do for them to let me know. Lets talk when you get there." Sounds like everything is gonnna work out great and that he will be very cooperative. | |
