| just a thought, can I take a d30 hub and knuckel off say a cj d30 axel and swap on to a newer d30 axel giving me hubs. The only problem that I can think of is would be that the bolt pattern would go from 4.5 to 5.5 which is stronger anyway. Besides a conversation piece, having 2wd lo, and free spinning front axels, is their any other up sides to doing this. | |

| no. ball joints are pressed into knuckles on cj and pressed into the axle "c" of newer d30s | |

| Narrow Track. Its what the early CJ's came with. Its perfect for the D30 custom builder. Personally I wouldn't waste money on this. Good project to learn on I would think cause most of the parts you can either get for free or really cheap. Oh and the wheel pattern I would leave. You can get the chromo shafts for the 8.8 from Usa alloy and they come with the settings for 5 on 4.5 and 5 on 5.5. | |

| if you have beer why do you need a heater? I'm in the process of buying a house with a garage so hopefully by the time it gets cold i'll have a new place to store my junk. | |
