| Well, another hidden problem was discovered with my Jeep, found that the skit plate got bend into a piramit shape, thus the reason for the transmission mount breaking, Soooooo.....now I need a used 97-2001 Jeep TJ skit plate. Anyone who has one laying around and would like to move it let me know. I haven't driven my Jeep since the November outing and I am having a Jeep attack!! | |

Well, if I can get one today that would be great! Yes I have an SYE. I was thinking about the belly tuck, but that means I would also have to get an extended rear drive shaft too. I leave of town on tuesday morning and don't return till next year..hehehehe on new years day.

| Tico If you have a CV drive shaft with the SYE you should not need new drive shafts for a belly up. You will need to get a 1 inch motor mount kit and 1 inch body lift if you don't already have one. If you can get a stock one cheap I would do that unless you find a deal on one and someone to work on it for free. | |

| Well the drive shaft I have there is a shorty type because of the SYE, I figure just tucking in would have eworked but I see your point, there is about 4" diffrence from tucking in, and lifting the Jeep would be required as well as ajusting the engine hight. Thanks for the tib bit! I'll just stick with the stock skit plate if anyone has one avaliable. Don't neede it now until I get back form vacation. | |
