| I have a danna 44 out of a scout that i found.i was looking at putting in a 8.8 which one is less work and easy to put in.I was thinking of running 4.88 gears. Any thoughts | |

| go with the 8.8 its easy to install and has the same lug pattern and you can find them with 4:10's that will buy you time till your ready to swap in the 4:88 gears. The Dana 44 out of the scouts had the old 6 lug or 5 lug pattern that was used on the old CJ's and Grand Wagoneers. The only down fall to the 8.8 is that it is a little more narrow but wheel spacers or the Super 8.8 kit will fix that problem. | |
