| welcome to the broke club, just keep in mind to wheel your going to have to have some money set aside because you will break stuff. Also you may want to look into getting a AAA card if your going to be driving it too and from the trails. | |

| I feel your pain... I spend months collecting parts like a hermit crab searching for a new shell... The lift stage keeps me held up because I am at the point of needing SYE/Driveshaft, plus the lift... But soon... very soon... that barrier will be broken and I will be back with a vengeance for blood... I mean mud... Another word of advice... lifts are nice... but you get in trouble (ie broken parts) REAL quick if you don't have the skids to go with it. I (and many others) have taken out my oil pan... and now according to 4wd and Quadratec that has become dealer item only (read EXPENSIVE!!!). The cost of my new Skid Row engine skid was the same as the new oil pan. Then you have diffs to worry about, and look at my post on control arm skids. Buy all the armor you can afford... and see you on the trails. | |

| RC on Thursday and Sat.
Short version Starter died, cut tire while dragging it off Snake Bite (section 3) thursday Other tire was the spare that was already damaged
Hill climb left side of Lake Christy saturday, snapped two bolts on the upper rear control arms and rolled the axle enough to break the flange on the shaft at the u joint. Drove it home with front wheel drive. | |
