| i have a shake. known as death shake. in the front when i go up a hill or i would turn, if i hit a bump it will be such a bad shake i have to slow down. i thought that it would be the shock in the middle of the two front tires. i have no idea what it is called. but hears my little drawing..
0--==--0 the equal sign around that area.

| Did you get an alignment done after your lift went on? That could be all you need. The shock thing is your steering stabilizer, but that shouldn't be causing any death shake. | |

| Agreed, steering stabilizer wont cause death wobble but it can help reduce it. Alignment should be your first move. If you still have the death wobble then you likely have something loose in the front suspension or steering system. | |

| air pressure too... 35 psi is recommended for your stock size... 30"... i run my 33s around 22 to 26 psi... it does not totally cure the wobble, but it allows a softer tire to help cushion some of it... bigger tires at same psi to smaller tires act as stiffer shocks... they are designed for heavier working load... alignment, then double check wheel balance, then maybe lower psi 2 or 3 pounds at a time... it won't totally go away, even stock jeeps can get it... but as long as you are aware of the zone and careful it won't be a problem... its a lifted jeep thing... | |

| I don't have any death wobble. A little bump steer, but my stock ford has more bump steer than the jeep. | |

| Merchants tire in Bel Air for a little more gives you up to a 3 year warranty that you can bring it back as many times as you want for that period for free.
Got it done there for my Dodge but not yet for the Jeep. | |

| PS, every time I have had death wobble it was related to the front track bar. Check that next. | |
