| Both the header gaskets were blow so I started researching to find a replacement. the headers are the block huggers that run about $150 a pair. I measured the head exhaust port at 1 3/4" and measured the Header port at 1 5/8. The 1 5/8 corresponds to the small block chevy header. The headers for the Big block chevy is 1 3/4. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a new set of headers so the port sizes match. Otherwise I'm thinking the gaskets will never seal right and I won't get full HP from the motor. Thoughts? | |
