| what throws me off is they go slow enough to need a spotter and call it a race. If I go down then I'll spot ya. | |

| Saw the video for this. Looks like it is a short race. Might be fun. Got it on my schedule as long as I don't destroy the Juggy at Line mt race. | |

| Pretty sure I can fix it for this event. Control arm mount, steering ram straps(installing 4 of them and welding retaining tabs on the ends just in case), some wiring, and reassemble the front driveshaft(hopefully the splines aren't destroyed) and should be good. | |

| Check for bent shocks. you would be a lucky man if they weren't. We had three bent shocks after last season | |

We hit the tree so hard it stopped us dead in our tracks. Everything looked to be solid and in good shape aside from the busted ram mount and lower control arm. | |

| Juggy just needs the wiring fixed otherwise is ready to go. Damage from line mt included LCA mount ripped from frame, support tubing pushed through frame, UCA johnny joint destroyed and bolt broken, separated (but not damaged) from driveshaft. Shocks are not bent. Gonna fix the wiring and the front diff leak tomorrow and I will be racing at this event. Looks like a short course with boulder field, some jumps, multiple laps and 30 second interval start. Something to burn some stress in the absence of any trail riding. Anyone else looking to go? | |

| Poor showing due to rain. Moved event to October 29th. Juggy is almost fixed. still need to figure out how to get the axle perfectly centered and squared. Still need to rewire my fan farm and put in some new switches and use relays. Burnt wire behind dash, busted switch (screw broke off its post), Got to run new wires to the back. when the fans stopped working I grabbed the hot to the switches and bypassed them directly back to the fans and directly connected all the switch wires together. it worked but had to pull them apart once i shut off the vehicle. Good weekend project for next weekend. | |

| Juggy is rewired, used a relay this time for the fan farm. Found the shorted wire behind the dash, a metal connector shorted on the steering column, was sticking out of the retracted black tape. Ran all new wires. fixed the seatbelts. they wouldn't latch properly and sometimes not at all. They were plugged with mud and turns out the cap has a recessed area for the pins to move into and they were plugged with mud to. Only way to fix it once it has mud in it is to take it apart. Still need to align the front axle from the control arm mount repair/replacement. Juggy wouldn't start, had to take the fitting off the tank and fill the line with fuel to "prime" the pump and it started right up. I'll be at this event to compete. small course with a couple jumps and big boulder piles for time. gates open at 7 and event starts at 11. | |

| Ran a really good first heat, 2 laps with no issues. Got some really good air and she landed softly. I hit the big rocks twice even though they said you only have to hit it once. slowed my time a little but it was a really good run. Second heat the steering pump took a crap right off the line and tried to steer me into the dozer. I was able to spin the wheel to get er straight and still hit the jumps. Had enough steering to stay straight on the second jump and go around the cone. hit the rocks and did ok but it was a struggle keeping it straight. Went around the boulders the first lap as allowed due to the steering and second lap the pump was not happy. Stayed straight for the jumps and turn but as soon as i hit the boulders the tires did what they wanted to do. got hung up and had to back and forth a little. hit the second bigger set of boulders and same issue, couldn't keep the line but i did make it through with a little struggle. Bigelow beat me by 10 seconds, so I'm told. Got a second place trophy. | |

| As it turns out, Bigelow took 3rd. I beat him by 15 seconds due to him taking a cone penalty. I didn't know I ran that well and went to concessions for a burger when I heard Eugene call me on the loudspeaker. New friend AK took first with a screaming run with his 5.7 jeep. He moved into the area from texas and is looking forward to joining us at Big Dogs this year. Hell of a nice guy, really fast jeep buggy. | |
