| A co-worker has a 2000 Wrangler 4.0L with automatic tranny. He recently has been having trouble with it not going into gear for up to a minute after shifting into drive. It seems as though it happens on a cold start but doesn't act up after it's warm. Any comments on what is causing this? Is this common for Jeeps or that year? His mechanic says he's seen the same problem on another automatic Jeep and he should expect this.

| Yeah down the road the it may need a new trans but if its fine when Its warm tell your co worker to make a point to give the jeep time to warm up. Both of my jeeps run like crap when there cold and great when there warm. That and next time he goes in for a oil change get the trans flushed and filled. l | |
