| somewhere i heard that ingersoll Rand is the brand to buy. looking at their 60 gallon 3hp single stage SS3L3 for about 600. Then there is a campbell hausfeld for 439 with similar specs. is it really that much better? | |

x2 I got the one that we have at our shop from http://www.northerntool.com/ Personally I would go with the machine that meets your needs and of the quality that you want. I wouldn't buy a brand name just cause. I like I told you we have a north star 80 gallon with the 7.5 hp motor that suites our needs and then some and it was about 1000 bucks less than the similar IR model when we bought it. Keep in mind you will be stepping up to a compressor that will need maintance every year of a oil change and a new belt every couple of years. Not a big deal but just something to keep in mind. | |
