| I found it online on the unlimited zj board. The guy lives out side of NY and was keeping it at his dads house. His dad said he had to get rid of it by the end of the week after it had sat for almost a year. he was asking for $4000 but then said the first $2000 takes it. I figured I could part it out and make well over that if it had some major problem but the guy says all it needs is a battery to run and pass inspection. He says he just doesn't have the time to get what its worth. | |

| Hey Tico thats a new one to me. I know that the 2003-2003 and the new ones have a handle on the A-pillar. Yours should come with the stock handles above the doors but they have backing plates that will not work for the driver side unless it came with it stock. but i could be wrong, none the less I will keep a eye out next time I run to the junk yard. | |

| its already got a detroit up front. most likley since its only going to see 32's i'm going to just buy bobbi's old axels and swap the gears and upgraded 35 axels. This way i'm locked front and back with 4.56's. This set up should make a hell of a DD/trail jeep. Also tico i'll keep a eye out for you. | |

| whats the stock gearing in the V8 ZJ's ? I know that the stock 4.0 has 3:73's which is still slow. Let me know if you don't buy Bobbi's axles I never thought of using the gears for the WJ damn why didn't I think of that. Back on track you might be gearing it way to high for 32's unless your going for more lift and larger tires. | |

| driving the new jeep today and a funny sound started comming from the front end once the jeep got to 25-30mph or faster. After messing around with it I figured the sound was comming from the front diff. i guess its time for a rebuild on those bearings. | |

| Yeah but the internals are a different story. the outside has rain then dry air and sun to dry it. But i have seen internals that have water in them rust in months cause there is no way to dry them up. Thats the only way I can figure how I got little rust spots on my front locker. cause the seal went bad and water go in a sat for a month. | |

| looks like I dodged a bullet. Turns out it was a bad hub bearing. Luckly I had two at the shop off a donor zj that I bought so I was able to advoid the $121 price tag for a new one. Once I got her put back together I ran her up to PA and back. No major problems and she even did real good on the highway. Though I think i'm still going to trailer it to R.C. next weekened. Knock on wood I may of lucked out and got a good jeep out of this deal. | |
