johnny joint

does anybody know where I can get 2.5 johnny joint bushings (or whole joint) by friday. I found out today that having the exhaust to close to the joint and the engine running rich will melt the bushings out of it.

I have one with a bend along the threads but the internals are good. I will be at the comfort inn on friday night. I also have a complete spare johnny joint with 1" shaft brand new if you need to borrow it. I'll bring both along this weekend whether you want one or not. I like to keep spares.

If I can't find one by then I might take you up on the offer. I have spare 2" but no 2.5"s. That will be a fun thing to swap out in a parking lot

well everyone I talked to said they don't have them in stock or they are far away. one company in Tenn. wanted $100 to next day them and thats not including the $30 part. I ordered some steering box parts last week that I ****ed up and it turned out that they didn't ship it till today. so that will be here friday. So friday I will finish the box and install that then come up in the morning on sat. wheel with the worn out joint( whats the worst that will happen) then put it in sat. night and have a new joint shipped to your door bill, if thats ok.

I'll bring it up and thats fine with me. I'll have to make sure the ones I use is not 2" now that you bring that up.
