found the reason for my soft clutch petal on the clutch. It is heat !!!

had the jeep out yesterday and could take the top off the master cyl. and rev up the engine until I would see the level in the master cyl rise then bubble. wrap the slave cyl and it took longer but still did it. Guess I will have to wrap the line up to the master cyl. next. all this trouble over one mud hole. The cost of a mud hole Clutch, Clutch Master Cyl, Clutch slave cyl. and line between master and slave. not counting all my time only put the clutch in three times because it would not disingage. I will win this battle.

glad to see you figured that out. I'm looking at replacing mine before the next trip out. Always a PITA in my opinion.
