| Joe, I was following the cage build of a guy in another club and Lt Dan said something that made good sense with trying to weld the top of the cage without setting the interior ceiling on fire.
"for the easiest way to weld it use a holesaw to cut holes that will let you drop the cage through the floor so that you can get the top as well, after you complete the upper welds you raise the cage , and then weld your footplates in place." | |

| actually thats a good idea to get a full bead all the way around. I'm not to worried about setting anything on fire inside because everything has been gutted down to the metal | |

| I don't mind running hard stuff but this run is a shakedown run for me in prep for RCrocs. I havent run it hard since making all the changes and want to work out all the bugs. I'll be running with Joe and take it easy but not too easy. depends on the rain as well. | |

| i'm just wondering if any one was going to have some free time this weekend to give me a hand on the jeep. I have a bunch of little stuff that needs to be done so I can try to do a lite shakedown run on it next sat. Beer and good food will be supplied as always | |
