| It looks good Joe. I the duct tape idea also there is always welding up your own windshield frame and running plexy or lexan glass. | |

| you would be surprised how much stuff is held together in the military by duct tape. But after looking at it I decided i'm just going to man up and bend a piece of tube to fit lower down on the windshield. | |

| thanks matt for the link. I went ahead and order the ring today so it should be here by next monday One thing that was metioned to me was that on my 95 5.2 motor the fuel pump regulation is controled in the pump were as in a 93 to ealy 95 the fuel was regulated in the rail thus having a return line. So in order to make the external pump work I would of had to swap in a earlyier version 5.2 fuel rail. With big dogs around the corner i don't think i'm going to have time to do all that. | |

| A stock TJ is 3235lbs, a stock zj is 3614lbs and a older toyota pick up is 2740lbs, and that is the wieght of the toyota before the bed and frame rot away so it should be much lighter now. the problem with jeeps is the heavy as engine | |

We'll figure this, we'll keep the stock weights because we all have pretty much the same thing with tires, winches, skids ect. Now my doors clock in around 60# a piece give or take because the fronts are heavier then the backs. with them off that gives me 240# less. Minus the rear hatch and roof which is in the 100# range. Then you minus the rear seats, sheat metal ect. which off sets the weight of the new floor and other metal dodads. granted that I have a little more tube in my cage then yj cages, I'll throw on about 50#. So if you think about it when its all said and done i'm only a couple hundred pounds heavier then you guys When I have the doors off. As for the yota thing I would really hope you would weigh less then half. Then also seeing that yota axels are the equilvant of d44s there is no reason they shouldn't hold up the the power of your mighty 4cyl | |
