| Link doesn't work. Says you need a password.
Do you want me to still be the event trailmaster for the event. I was serious in taking on a role that would help. Its something I think everyone knows I could be good at. Its your call just letting you know the offer is still on the table.

| Ok, now I need help in finding or getting recommedations for bands or local DJ's that might be interested in working with us for this event. If anyone knows one please let me know. You know our budget is limited but maybe we can get sponsors to ofset the cost.
Also, I have not hadd any one submit a draft for a T-shirt design for this year. If I don't have one soon I will then hire the Excell people to design this years shirt too.

| Paul has secured a caterer and the food will be more than enough for what I can see. He is also working towards getting sponsors to cover the expensess. But for now here is what we are looking at having for dinner:
Serving line would open at 5:00 PM and close at 7:00 PM. $25 per person. Menu: Pit Beef, Barbeque Chicken, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, and Seasonal Fruit, Beverages: Coke, Diet Coke, and bottled water
Yummy! Now working on the band or DJ. Anyone got anything to add to this event?
Thanks Nester, try to get back soon on that art work.
Here is my concept; A stage, a band of maybe four people jamming, breaking out of the drums a Jeep leaping through the air and landing on a muddy hole, as the background the parks landscape and the food tent. This desing concept goes on the front of the T-shirt and on the back we use all our sponsors in a circluar pattern just out side the perimeters of our club logo. On the front the words "Maryland Rock Raiders 3rd Annual Fundraiser" and somewhere else in the front "benefiting the American Diabetes Association"
Open for visions, anyone?

| for the art work I would say you should let em artist figure it out. My plan is let a couple of people put together sketches based on the links that I send them of the rigs that have been to the event before. I think the idea for the band and jeeps idea would work good for a flier for the event to show what its about. The T-shirt should stick to a classic 4x4 event shirt. It should have a couple of the rigs that people most often think of when they see use out on the trails. just my .02 cents
As for the food I would hope that we could get some sponsors. It sounds great and I'm all in for 2 people but some people might not want to put out 25 a head for dinner. even if the sponsor could cover half that would make it a affordable meal that would appeal to the mass. I like the direction that the event is going this year.

| Well, this event has all the makings of a great year, Paul is checking into a band called Nothing but Trouble and they play just about everything, from blues to rock. He has used them before so they are higly recommended. As for the food I think about it this way, it's a fundraiser, a worthy one at that, even when we go out to eat we would drop about 20 to 30 bucks on both the food and the tips. Add the drink your there. Specially when the food promisses to be great! I rather have a great meal and the entertainment for the 25 bucks. But we will see how it works out. We are defentely looking at sponsors to pick up some or all the cost. Looking foward to the T-shirt design, I just put my vision of what I thought might be a great T-shirt design, you know I am a man with vison and no money, Hahahaha. Yes I like where this is going very much too. People are starting to kick in and help and that's where its at, this is our event, let's make it count. Damn I miss the trails.....I wouldn't be able to trail til maybe May or June, sucks to be me. But look out for when I come out.... | |

| Tico, i will donate my band Dwell for the event. We are right in Fallston and would love to play for the event. Just Let me know and I can set it up. We are original hard rock and do a great cover of "Born To Be Wild." You can check us out on Myspace: xDwellx. We have a full PA system for the gig, only need a clean flat place to set up and electricity. I have been tlaking to Bruce about us playing at RC for either the late RCRock event of the WERock event. Should be fun. I am sorry to missed the dinner the other night, we had a fire in Harford Co that demanded my attention. Running a crisis team is so inconvenient. At least I can drive my Jeep every day. Hey, do we have any windshield banners left. I would like one for the Little Red TJ. Thanks, Shawn.[b] | |

| [b]Bummer I missed breakfast too. I didnt get home from work till 2am and never woke up. There are five of us in Dwell. I would sat that our style is most similar to Steppenwolf, Zeppelin, Doors, Godsmack, maybe a little Metallica, and ACDC for good measure.....does that cover enough ground. The only cover we do now is "Born To Be Wild.' We will be adding a few more covers this month.....next week we are doing "Shinedown" from Godsmack. Then maybe a Zeppelin tune.....like "Black Dog." Bob D. vocals Shawn D. lead guitar/vocals Mike J. bass/vocal Drew D. guitar Jeromy L. drums/mayhem I will have to meet up with you somewhere for the banner, how bout RCreek............we miss you out in the dirt. | |
