For the roof talk to Chris he has a good hook up for 1/8 alum sheets.

sounds good. i did see a post for a 4x6 sheet for $125. I am planning on going through chris.

I spent a lot of time removing all the old hardware off the front and rear axles. they are completely stripped of old stuff and ready for truss and tabs. ALso installed the doubler hopefully for the last time and got the shifters installed. needed more steel to build the doubler support and belly pan. Also cut about 8 tabs for the Johnny joints frame side link mounts for the rear. Rear axle is already trussed. Got the jeep leveled out at full compression and got the axles positioned and looks like my wheelbase will be about 119" or so. I could go shorter but I'd like to keep all the uppers and lowers the same length so I only have to carry 1 complete spare of each. Next weekend i'll have measures for the links so Chris can have them tapped for my rod ends. Also should be ready to order coilovers next weekend.

Build a mounting system for the doubler using 3/8" plate and 1/4" 2x2 and some YJ bushings. also built a truss for the front 60 with 1/4" plate. Still needs some welding but my welder's thermal protection shutdown activated so I called it a night.

its all clear boogers right now. when you get a nasty yellow one i am sure there will be some remarks to let you know about it

getting very tired of making tabs for link mounts, belly pan mounts etc etc etc. Frame side front upper mounts are done, front upper axle side mounts are done. Now working on lower mounts frame side in front.

Link mounts are done, few gussets needed. Time to order coilovers, still need to weigh for coils. Starting tube now in front.

look awesome. Is there room for a winch? So I guess you don't plan on bumping people out of the way, just going to run them over.

actually i do have a plan for the winch. still more tube work to be done, yes i am putting a stinger on there. also will be modifiying the grill.

unbelievably cool.

rock rails are done and fully welded. Door bars are done. started on winch mount and modified grill. Ran out of cutting wheels again.
